The Kiwi Gun Blog has asked every political Party in New Zealand for their firearms policy. So that our readers can then make an informed decision on who to vote for come the next election.

The Maori Party declined to respond in any way.

The Māori Party is a race based option that was formed in 2004. It was founded by Tariana Turia after she left the Labour party. Another expensive by election resulted.

At the last election the Maori Party took only 1.32% of the total vote.

They have two seats in Parliament.

There is no law and order policy AT ALL on the Maori Party website at the time of this writing.

Maori love their hunting and this lack of response from a party claiming to honor such heritage is disappointing.
