The Kiwi Gun Blog are a practical bunch.

The blog simply deals with the reality of what works and what doesn’t when it comes to controlling the misuse of firearms.

But we thought that something was worth a quick post for the younger shooters.

To remind them why some older shooters see guns as not just sporting equipment but as an essential tool for preserving liberty….

Here is an interesting piece of history that should never be forgotten.

Translation below….

Governments have butchered four times as many civilians as were killed in all the international and domestic wars combined. It all followed strict gun control.

Here are some examples:

In 1911, Turkey established gun control. 1.5 million Armenians were arrested and exterminated.

In 1929, the former Soviet Union established gun control as a means of controlling their citizens. 40 million Soviets were arrested and exterminated. This doesn’t include the 30 million ‘Uncle Joe’ starved to death in the Ukraine.

In 1938, Nazi Germany established their gun control and 13 million Jews, gypsies, homosexuals, the mentally ill, and others were murdered.

In 1935, Communist China established gun control and 50 million political dissidents were arrested and exterminated.

In 1964 Guatemala established gun control and 100,000 Mayans were arrested and exterminated.

In 1970 Uganda established gun control and 300,000 Christians were arrested and exterminated.

In 1956 Cambodia established gun control and one million of the “educated” people were arrested and exterminated.

In 1994, Rwanda disarmed the Tutsi people and one million were then summarily executed.

These are just a few examples that prove:

 With Guns………..We Are “Citizens”

Without Them……..We Are “Subjects”
