The Kiwi Gun Blog has asked every political Party in New Zealand for their firearms policy. So that our readers can then make an informed decision on who to vote for come the next election.

The Labour Party declined to respond in any way.

Due to the political influence of the party, The Kiwi Gun Blog has chased this lot hard for ANY official policy on firearms. We have had no response from their leadership, spokespeople in the areas of Police and Justice or party management.

Likewise, we have had no response when asking for their support for harsher sentencing of serious firearm offending.

This, in itself, expresses the utter contempt that Labour has for the hundreds of thousands of responsible shooters in New Zealand. The Kiwi Gun Blog sincerely hope that those shooters return the favor come election day.

The New Zealand Labour Party was formed in 1916 by a collection of socialist parties and trade unions.

It has historically been one of the big two that contested any election.

Since 2013 Labour has been an active participant of the international Progressive Alliance. A league of 140 socialist parties all over the world. The Kiwi Gun Blog has asked this group for their policy on firearms. Because it will also be that of Labour. We will advise of their response.

Labour’s likes include gun bans, long walks on the beach and changing their leaders a lot. With insanely corrupt voting systems that involve some people being more ‘Equal’ than others.

The current leader is Andrew Little. At the last election he suggested that those accused of a crime should prove themselves innocent. Then retracted it. Then denied saying it. While the leader at the time, David Cunliffe, announced that he was sorry to be a man.

The party was now run by extremists – for extremists and suffered a devastating defeat in 2014 – securing barely a quarter of the vote.

It is possible that they may do even worse this go around. We shall see.
