Stuart Nash Demands Increased Funding For Gun Registry

In a story today, Stuart Nash is demanding more money for Police gun licensing.

No doubt wanting the digital system put in place for registration.

He STILL ignores questions about what gun restrictions he still supports.

So does his leadership.

So do local MPs when asked to secure this policy.

Remember this come election time.

    1. One News Colmar Brunton poll July 2017

      Party Support
      •National 47.0% (-2.0%)
      •Labour 27.0% (-3.0%)
      •Green 11.0% (+2.0%)
      •NZ First 11.0% (+2.0%)
      •Maori 2.0% (+1.4%)
      •United Future 0.0% (NC)
      •ACT 1.0% (+0.5%)
      •Mana 0.0% (NC)
      •Conservative 0.0% (NC)
      •Opportunities 1.0% (-0.4%)

      Projected Seats
      •National 57
      •Labour 33
      •Green 14
      •ACT 1
      •Maori 2
      •United Future 1
      •NZ First 14
      •Total 122

This is based on no change in electorate seats.

      Coalition Options
      •CR – National 57 + ACT 1 + United Future 1 = 59/122 – three fewer the minimum needed to govern
      •CL – Labour 33 + Greens 14 = 47/122 – 15 fewer than the minimum needed to govern
      •C – NZ First 14 + Maori 2 = 16/122

On this poll NZ First would hold the balance of power.

or they could consider this (elephant in the room) Coalition Option…..
      National 57 + NZ First 14 = 71/122 job done!

  4. Labour’s Firearms Policy in a nut shell. I didn’t trust him with his so called turnaround after the Select Committee debacle and here he is doing it again. Throwing us under the bus. At least Cahill is honest in his intentions. He wants our guns. End Of. But this flip flopping idiot should not be allowed anywhere near the reins of power in the future. I saw this man in action at the Select Committee hearings and believe me he is Not to be Trusted

Northland shooting: Labour says inquiry into online gun sales needed.
Labour’s police spokesman Stuart Nash said the Government should launch an independent inquiry into online sales….
He still believed firearms should be allowed to be sold on Trade Me but there had to be a “much more robust process”.

“That could include both parties meeting at a police station for the transaction, or go through a licenced gun dealer.

“All online guns sales should be suspended, until there’s been an inquiry, Nash said.
