Police Ban Pistol Caliber Carbines

As long as Police are making shit up…

They just did this:

koooo.PNG

Police have responded to suggestions that MSSA rifles be allowed for sport saying that this would not be possible.

Their reason?

That no New Zealand Pistol Association type system to manage them exists.

Sooooo….

They take carbines out of that proven system.

Because….. reasons.

We called the local Arms Office who had NO IDEA this was new policy. They asked for a copy of the letter.

We are now advising police on what police are doing.

So what happens to the guns and parts?

Will there be compensation?

This gets madder by the day.

Interesting thing happened the other day. My friend was having his annual inspection for his B endorsement. I went along to see what the experts new about what was happening. Short story, he knew nothing about anything.

Then he proved it, my friend asked about a new gun safe he has ordered, and enquired about whether it had to be checked, Question. You have A cat fire arms? Answer, No , have some on order at the local gun shop.

Question. Can you put A Cat guns on a B Cat licence?

Said nothing what could you say. Sat there and waited for him struggle with the booklet of paperwork, once all the boxes were ticked, he left.

Had been doing the job for 18 Months, ex Police detective or something.

  3. What about those of us with them already on our B cats
I have received no notification about this from the police.
Will I just be arrested next time they come to check and make sure I have it securely stored?
